Walaa has over eight years of experience in risk management and compliance across capital market institutions.

Prior to joining GIB Capital, she served as a Senior Risk Officer at Alkhair Capital, where she contributed to establishing the Risk Management function by developing departmental policies and procedures, risk registers, risk assessment reports, and building the Business Continuity Management (BCM) unit.

Previously, she worked as a Compliance and AML Assistant Manager at BSF Capital, where she led the compliance monitoring division. She also held the role of Operational and Market Risk Analyst at BSF Capital, where she was responsible for identifying, monitoring and mitigating  risk across the organisation.
