Abdullah Allazzam

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Abdullah Ali Allazzam joined GIB Capital as the Deputy Head of Investment Banking in August 2022.

Abdullah has more than 13 years of experience spanning across investment banking, principal investments and advisory. Prior to joining GIB Capital, Abdullah worked at the Saudi Industrial Development Fund as a senior advisor to the CEO, where he was part of the team working on the transformation of the Fund and launching several new financing products and solutions.

Abdullah started his career in Samba Capital’s Corporate Finance and Investment Banking team. During his time at Samba Capital, Abdullah played a key role in the successful execution of transactions exceeding SAR 25bn in value across ECM, DCM, M&A and strategic advisory. Moreover, Abdullah was also part of the MASIC direct investment team where he structured and led several key acquisitions for the Group.

Education

Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Banking and International Finance from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City University of London.

GIB Capital is a Single Shareholder Company (Commercial Registration No. 1010244294) with paid-up capital of SR 200,000,000.

GIB Capital obtained its license from the Capital Market Authority under license number 07078-37 on 08/07/1428H (corresponding to 22/07/2007G). GIB Capital obtained the approval to proceed with its business activities from the Capital Market Authority on 03/04/1429H (corresponding to 12/04/2008G).

GIB Capital provides corporate finance services in the Saudi capital markets, and is licensed to carry out the following activities by the Capital Market Authority (“CMA”):
